Membership is open to individual employers both in the private and public sectors who employ two or more persons in a permanent establishment engaged in or connected with an industry, trade, business, education or cultural activity in Ghana.
Membership is categorized into the following:
- Category A1 – Companies employing 50 workers or more with annual turnover above 13.5 billion cedis
- Category A2 - Companies employing 50 workers or more with annual turnover between 6.8 - 13.5 billion cedis.
- Category B - Companies employing 50 workers or more with annual turnover between 1.35 – 6.8 billion cedis.
- Category C - Companies employing 5 workers or more with annual turnover below 1.35 billion cedis.
